Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon experienced cloudy skies with scattered rain showers, the state weather bureau said on Sunday, July 16.
This is due to the enhancement of the southwest monsoon or ‘habagat” caused by Severe Tropical Storm (STS) Talim.

Weather condition forecasts in other areas
PAGASA said monsoon rains are also possible in Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, and the northern portion of Palawan due to the southwest monsoon.
Likewise, places such as Western Visayas, La Union, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Romblon, and the rest of Palawan will experience occasional rains.
Moreover, caused by the southwest monsoon or localized thunderstorms, Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorm weather conditions.
