Isko Moreno and his son Joaquin Domagoso are among the good-looking duos at the GMA Gala on Saturday.
Joaquin arrived in a maroon suit with flared trousers designed by Chynna Mamawal. Meanwhile, the newly-signed Sparkle artist Isko wore a classic Italian-style suit from Bergamo.
Isko said that he came to the venue straight from “Eat Bulaga” and that Joaquin also arrived separately.
“Gulat nga ‘ko [kay Joaquin], ang sabi ko, John Travolta eh,” he said.
But Joaquin said that his inspiration is actually Elvis Presley.
Asked how he felt walking down the red carpet with his dad, Joaquin said that he is very happy.
“Natutuwa ako na kasama ko si Papa today,” the actor said. “Medyo naging kalmado ako today kasi I’m enjoying with my dad.”
Isko added, “Hindi ko naisip na makakasama ko ‘yung anak ko sa ganitong klaseng event pero I’m happy for him and proud of him.”
The TV host also said that Joaquin is in good hands with GMA-7.
“I started with GMA-7. They gave me so much opportunity and blessing, and I think that he will have it as long as pagbubutihan lang niya.”
For Joaquin, “GMA is home.”
Before the interview ended, Isko said that he hopes to have a series with Joaquin.
