Twitter launched its new logo Monday, ditching the blue bird on its website for an X as part of a wider rebranding.
The social media network’s site now shows the company’s new logo: a white X on a black background.
On the app, Elon Musk has been hinting on the change.
“And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds,” he wrote in one of his recent tweets.
“If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make go live worldwide tomorrow,” he added.
On Sunday, Elon tweeted, “X.com now points to https://twitter.com/. Interim X logo goes live later today” to signal the change was underway, and early on Monday, he tweeted a photo of the Twitter headquarters, with an X lit against the building.

The official Twitter account has already changed its name to X, and its profile photo now features its logo, but its handle continues to be @Twitter.
