Cavitex dethrones TNT to rule PBA 3×3 Leg 4

Cavitex spoiled TNT’s bid for back-to-back leg titles after pulling off a 21-17 victory in the Leg 4 finals of the PBA 3×3 Season 3 First Conference on Tuesday at the Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati.

The Braves finished the elimination round with a 2-1 win-loss card before a 21-16 quarterfinals victory against NorthPort sent them to the semifinals. Against Merlaco in the final four, Cavitex again emerged victorious with a 17-15 victory for a finals ticket against reigning grand slam winner TNT.

The Bolts, meanwhile, finished third after defeating Wilcon Depot in the battle for bronze.

The Braves’ victory spoiled what could have been second consecutive leg championships for the Triple Giga, who ruled the previous leg.
