Last year I was impressed with the Galaxy Tab S8 series, so the inevitable announcement of the Tab S9 is one of the things I was most looking forward to. And what Samsung has shown was quite enough to satiate my interest in the premium Android tablet.
Of course, the Galaxy Tab S9 is aimed for productivity. The keyboard and the IP68 S Pen the Tab S9 supports highlights how you can use the Tab S9 as your daily driver for working anywhere.
One of the key features of the Tab S9 is the Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, which brings out all the color from the screen. It’s also powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, so we can be sure the Tab S9 will be a snappy performer, ready to take on multiple tasks you throw at it.
Samsung says you may update the included S Pen with the S Pen Creative Edition, which, essentially, a better version of the S Pen, aimed for people who need better precision, such as creative artists.
The Tab S9 gets some of the Fold5 features, such as the Multi Window that supports up to three apps, and the Pop-Up View, which shows apps as floating windows so you can review when needed.
There are three Tab S9 devices, the standard S9, S9+, and the Tab S9 Ultra, which are sized 11-inches, 12.4-inches, and 12.6-inches respectively.
