The Philippine Coast Guard Aviation Force on Friday resumed the search and rescue mission for their four fellow rescuers who went missing in Cagayan.
In a statement, the Coast Guard Aviation Force (CGAF) utilized CGH-1451 in conducting a search and rescue (SAR) mission.
The PCG said the rescuers went missing in the Cagayan River on July 26 while underway to assist the captain of MTUG Iroquois, who suffered from a heart attack amid Super Typhoon Egay.
On July 30, their aluminum boat was recovered in the vicinity waters off Barangay Fuga, Aparri, Cagayan.—Sherylin Untalan/LDF, GMA Integrated News
