BACOLOD CITY – A couple was arrested in a buy-bust operation in their house in Barangay Alijis here on Friday, August 4.
Police identified the subject as Carolyn Li, 21, an online seller, and her live-in partner Jelo Vergel, 19, residents of Rizal Lopez Jaena, Barangay 27 here.
Confiscated from them were 25 grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000, 12 grams of suspected marijuana worth P81,600, the P500 marked money, and P400.
Police Capt. Francis Depasucat, head of Police Station 4, said they had been monitoring the couple for a while.
He said they would usually transfer from one place to another to continue their alleged illegal activity.
Depasucat said that suspects are street-level individuals.
