GMA Kapuso Foundation, in its latest bloodletting project at Ever Commonwealth, was able to collect over 1,500 blood bags.
In partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, Kapuso Foundation’s Sagip Dugtong Buhay project has been running for 27 years.
Bella, who will celebrate her birthday on August 26, said that she also once needed blood donations for her mother who had cancer.
GMA Kapuso Foundation’s ambassador and special adviser Mel Tiangco, who was also celebrating her birthday, expressed her gratitude to everyone who took part in the project.
Mel shared that after undergoing an angioplasty procedure following a heart attack, “Sabi ko sa sarili ko, paglabas na paglabas ko rito, I will work so hard to be able to help people dun sa problemang ‘yun, yung dugo.”
For those who are interested to help, the GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
