ABS-CBN Corporation is honored for the sixth time with an ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow Award from the Institute of Corporate Directors for good corporate governance.

The company was recognized for its compliance with the Philippine Code of Corporate Governance and internationally recommended practices, alongside other top Philippine publicly listed and insurance companies, based on the 2024 ACGS and Corporate Governance Scorecard (CGS) assessment results.

ABS-CBN corporate secretary Atty. Eric Quiason, along with senior treasury and investor relations officer Melanie Teodoro and treasury and investor relations officer Marvin Payumo, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

The Golden Arrow Award is given to companies that have achieved at least a score of 75 in the ACGS assessment, which comprises 193 questions and measures companies’ practices in upholding the rights of shareholders, how they relate to stakeholders, sustainability and resiliency, ensuring transparency and accountability through timely disclosure, and the board’s strategic guidance of the organization.

The ICD is a non-stock, non-profit national association of corporate directors and stakeholders engaged in corporate governance. According to the ICD, the ACGS “aims to raise the country’s corporate governance standards and practices and make well-governed Philippine publicly listed and insurance companies attractive to investors.”
