Herbalife Philippines Empowers Young Entrepreneurs Through Immersive Experiences at the Next Gen Opportunity Meeting

Young entrepreneurs and aspiring professionals gathered for the Next Gen Opportunity Meeting, an immersive summit organized by Herbalife Philippines to inspire growth, build practical skills, and foster meaningful connections. The event combined wellness activities, mentorship sessions, and personal storytelling, providing a platform for participants to reflect, learn, and take action in their entrepreneurial journeys.

With more than half of Filipino Gen Z (54%) expressing strong entrepreneurial intentions and a desire to start their own ventures, immersive experiences are becoming essential in equipping young entrepreneurs with practical skills, mindset training, and supportive networks. Blending wellness, mentorship, and real-life stories of growth, the summit offered a fresh approach to nurturing the next generation of business leaders in the Philippines.

Highlighting the company’s objective in hosting the summit, Allan Domingo, General Manager of Herbalife Philippines, said, “We want young entrepreneurs to have a space where they can really grow and learn to take action. By combining mentorship, wellness, and a community that supports them, we help them turn their ideas into real opportunities and build the kind of success that lasts. We’ve helped people from diverse backgrounds turn passion into successful, fulfilling businesses.”

“At Herbalife, we equip our independent distributors with expert-led training on health, nutrition, and our products, ensuring they can confidently guide customers. Beyond training, we foster a supportive community with personalised guidance and dedicated customer service. With a global network of over two million entrepreneurs, Herbalife remains committed to sharing knowledge and strategies to drive business success,” he further added.

Adding a perspective on the importance of community and passion, Patricia Germentil, Gen Z marketing strategist and entrepreneur shared that young entrepreneurs thrive when they are supported by authentic connections: “Likes are just surface level, real growth comes from building a community that lasts. Your day ones aren’t just followers; they’re the ones who believe in you, engage with you, and support your journey from the start.”

She also emphasized that people connect not only to products but to the experience and purpose behind them, underscoring the value of immersive, intentional engagement in building a brand or business.

The summit also featured a live podcast-style conversation with television personalities and fitness advocates Joyce Pring and Juancho Triviño, who shared insights on balancing work, personal life, and entrepreneurial ambitions. Pring highlighted self-care as a foundation for success, while Triviño emphasized discipline and consistent daily choices over fleeting motivation, with both underscoring resilience and community support as key drivers of sustainable growth.

Ines Santiago, Herbalife triathlete, teacher, and mother, demonstrated how consistent habits can transform both personal and professional life. She shared how a simple 10-minute jog to manage stress evolved into long-distance triathlons and ultimately her role as a wellness ambassador. Reflecting on her journey, Santiago explained that when managed positively, stress can serve as a catalyst for growth: “Adversity pushes you to do better, to live your best life, and to be your best self.” Her story underscored how wellness routines can cultivate discipline, mindset, and the endurance necessary for entrepreneurial success.

The summit drew almost 500 attendees, including aspiring entrepreneurs, young professionals, and Herbalife distributors from across the Philippines.
