House sends bill granting Marcos emergency powers to Senate

The House of Representatives on Tuesday transmitted to the Senate the bill authorizing President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to temporarily suspend or reduce excise taxes on petroleum amid rising oil prices brought about by Middle East conflict, the office of Speaker Faustino "Bojie" Dy III said.
