‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ Celebrates 3rd Anniversary; Tanggol Confronts New Mission

Primetime King Coco Martin is filled with gratitude as “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” celebrates its third anniversary, marking three years of shared journey with Filipinos nationwide who religiously followed the story and struggles of Tanggol every night.

In a series of plugs released by Dreamscape Entertainment, loyal viewers wished the show a happy anniversary and thanked Tanggol for giving them all-out action, drama, joy, and inspiration throughout the years.

“Tatlong taon mo na kaming napapasaya, napapahanga, at napapaiyak sa bawat eksena,” shared one avid fan. While another ka-Batang Quiapo viewer said, “Maraming salamat sa patuloy na pagbibigay inspirasyon at saya sa aming lahat.”

Since the popular action series’ debut on-air and online, Filipinos have followed Tanggol’s relentless journey from a street-smart friend to an uncanny hero, from witnessing his death-defying stunts to the show’s relatable plot lines that mirror the lives of everyday Filipinos.

To mark the milestone, the hit Kapamilya teleserye opens the week with an action-packed encounter as Tanggol confronts a new mission, which might just be his most important and personal battle yet.

The story will intensify when Tanggol and his ‘tropa’ figure in a do-or-die face-off against the police force after they masterminded a jewelry heist.

Unknown to the group, they will actually be caught in a life-or-death situation when they are betrayed and set-up by their own beloved friend, Enteng (Jojit Lorenzo) – who will succumb to Rigor’s (John Estrada) evil demands in exchange for his mother’s life.

The series also promises more adrenaline-pumping episodes as all hell will break loose when it is officially announced that Tanggol won the election recount as the mayor of Manila, and not his arch-rival Miguelito (Jake Cuenca).
