Louis Tomlinson’s How Did We Get Here? World Tour Heads to Manila
Global singer-songwriter Louis Tomlinson is set to return to the Philippines as he brings his highly anticipated How Did We Get Here? World Tour 2026 to Manila. Fans will finally get to experience the biggest solo era of the former One Direction star live on October 17, 2026, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Following a world-conquering career as a member of One Direction, Tomlinson has firmly established himself as one of today’s most compelling singer-songwriters. His latest album, How Did I Get Here?, released earlier this year via BMG, marks his most personal and confident work to date.
Describing it as “the record I always deserved to make,” Tomlinson embraces his evolution as a lyricist, songwriter and performer, blending heartfelt storytelling with an ambitious indie-pop sound that reflects his artistic growth. The album debuted at No. 1 in the United Kingdom, Belgium, The Netherlands and Spain, while reaching the Top 5 in Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Switzerland.
Its lead single, “Lemonade,” received major support from BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and Capital UK, with Tomlinson also performing the track during BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge alongside a cover of Hozier’s Too Sweet. Follow-up releases “Palaces,” “Imposter,” and the latest single, “Sunflowers,” further showcased his evolving sound, earning praise from critics and fans alike.
His latest album campaign has also been highlighted by appearances on the covers of Billboard and Rolling Stone UK, a performance and interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, an in-depth conversation with Zane Lowe, and a candid interview with Steven Bartlett on The Diary of a CEO, which became the second most-streamed podcast episode of 2025. Before this new chapter, Tomlinson’s second album, Faith In The Future, topped the charts in the UK, Spain, Argentina and Belgium, while its accompanying world tour sold out arenas across 34 countries and stadiums in five countries.
He also made history as the first male solo artist to headline Mexico City’s iconic Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez Formula 1 circuit. Beyond the charts, Tomlinson has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting live performers of his generation. His recently concluded sold-out arena tour across Europe and the UK once again proved his enduring connection with audiences worldwide.
Now, that same energy is coming to Manila. Fans can look forward to an unforgettable night featuring songs from How Did I Get Here?, alongside beloved hits from Walls, Faith In The Future, and fan favorites spanning his celebrated solo career.
