From Sold-Out Shows to New Music: Rising Boyband December 10 Releases ‘Angel’

Britain’s rising boyband December 10 have released their highly anticipated new single “Angel,” now available on all major streaming platforms in the Philippines and worldwide.

Less than three months after their global reveal on the Simon Cowell: The Next Act docuseries on Netflix, and following their signing with EMI Records, December 10 are moving at an impressive pace. The group has already amassed millions of followers across social media, over half a million monthly listeners on Spotify, and reached No.1 on the Official Physical and Vinyl Singles Charts with their debut single “Run My Way.”

The official music video for “Run My Way” and their stripped-back cover of Bye Bye Bye by NSYNC have also surpassed 2.4 million and 1.9 million organic views on YouTube, respectively. Written and produced by acclaimed hitmakers Julian Bunetta (known for work with Sabrina Carpenter and Teddy Swims) and Savan Kotecha (who has worked with Ariana Grande and The Weeknd), “Angel” follows their energetic debut single “Run My Way,” which has already generated millions of streams globally. A warm, melody-driven lovestruck ballad, “Angel” captures the dizzying rush of falling deeply in love, offering a softer and more intimate side of the group.

“We are so excited for our second single to be out in the world. It felt mind-blowing on tour seeing everyone sing it back to us after we teased it online. Totally surreal.” – December 10

The accompanying stripped-back performance video showcases the band in a more intimate setting. Directed by Laurence Warder and produced by Vicky Kanji-Smith for Bad Bones Films, the performance features John on keys, with Seán and Hendrik on guitar and Josh on cajón. The arrangement strips the song down to its emotional core, allowing the vocals and lyrics to take center stage.

Formed during the filming of Simon Cowell: The Next Act, which premiered globally on Netflix on December 10, 2025, December 10 have quickly built a loyal international fanbase through their live shows and online presence. The charismatic seven-member group includes Cruz (19), Danny (17), Hendrik (19), John (17), Josh (17), Nicolas (17), and Seán (19).

Beyond their vocal talent, the group are also multi-instrumentalists, collectively playing 14 instruments. Cruz leads on percussion; Nicolas and Danny play guitar; Josh plays guitar and drums; Hendrik plays guitar, bass, and piano; Seán plays guitar, piano, and harmonica; while John was preparing for his Grade 8 clarinet and piano exams before the group’s rapid rise.

December 10 also represents a new generation of global pop groups, bringing together members from Chorley, Rochester, Dublin, London, Lisbon, and Walsall, with Irish, Brazilian, Indian, Nigerian, and Jamaican heritage reflected in the group’s diverse musical influences. Their inspirations range from Fela Kuti, Daft Punk, Brent Faiyaz, and Steve Lacy to Freddie Mercury, The Notorious B.I.G., Usher, and Brazilian icons Legião Urbana and Cazuza.

Fun, energetic, and undeniably charismatic, December 10 are fast emerging as one of the most talked-about new pop acts in the UK — and are now steadily gaining attention from fans across Asia, including the Philippines.
